UCentric Voice Audit - Overview and Access

General Introduction

Overview

UCentric Voice Audit allows a discovery of voice systems such asmore telephone (PBX) systems to be performed quickly and easily. It is a powerful administrative tool that enables the user to precisely track the number, type and availability of key PBX resources such as cards, trunks and handsets. It is possible to view details of any aspect of the communication system with just a few mouse clicks. Furthermore, UCentric Voice Audit can autonomously monitor any number of PBX systems, whether LAN-linked nodes or individual units accessible only by modem.

UCentric Voice Audit is designed to perform downloads of PBX configuration data on a scheduled, user-defined basis. Each of these “asset scans” is stored along with its creation date for perusal by the user. This approach allows the user to not only access up-to-date information without any delay at all, but also monitor how the configuration of their communications network has changed between specific dates.

Probably the greatest advantage of UCentric Voice Audit is its extreme ease of use. Administrative personnel can carry out a sophisticated audit of the entire communications network from within a simple web-based interface. A top-down approach is used to display configuration details enabling the user to specify the precise areas of interest and the level of configuration detail.

UCentric Voice Auditing can be used to facilitate a migration to hosted or cloud solutions from any legacy PBX when used with UCentric Voice Migration and Provisioning modules.
